As part of our regular maintenance work here at our Michigan Data Center, we just finished replacing one of two battery strings in our larger UPS. These strings require occasional inspection and the batteries last (depending on frequency of use) about four years. This time, however, we installed larger, longer lasting, batteries to improve our UPS runtime, and minimize necessary replacements.
In other news, the site has undergone some visual modification, expansion, and a general sprucing up. This comes from our constant drive for efficiency, and reliability. It also comes from our affinity for nice looking websites.
